Intelsat embraces its responsibility as a member of the global community. We know it’s not enough to just be aware of our potential for responding to crises, we must also be active in that role and collaborate with our partners globally. After the devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck southern Haiti on August 24th, Intelsat along with our partner Starwin, met the need for equipment and connectivity within 24 hours of the request. By aiding Help.NGO we enabled this organization to provide critical support to the government and citizens of Haiti in their time of humanitarian need.
