Johannesburg, 16 November 2017 – Intelsat S.A. (NYSE: I) customer United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) recently won the Changing Lives Award at the AfricaCom 2017 awards ceremony held 8 November 2017.
The awards celebrate the achievements of the best companies, solutions, products and personalities improving connectivity and driving Africa through the fourth industrial revolution.
The award recognizes the work by UNHCR and Intelsat to deploy connectivity for refugee centers in host communities.
