Galaxy 19: Increasing Service in the U.S. with China Central Television (CCTV)

Intelsat’s Galaxy 19 (G-19) video neighborhood, the largest independent TV and radio community in North America, now features the following channels from China to viewers in North America on G-19: CCTV-4 (America), CGTN (English), CGTN Francais, CGTN Espanol, CGTN Documentary. 

G-19 offers more than 160 multicultural and faith-based channels bringing specialty content from 60 countries and 30 languages directly to viewers. The free-to-air platform is also home to diverse ethnic bouquets from Globecast, STN and MX-1.

G-19’s free-to-air video neighborhood is the largest independent TV and radio community in North America and allows content providers to reach the diverse and growing diasporas who are seeking to remain culturally engaged with their ethnic roots.
